Ehlinger expected to start, three starters disciplined ahead of OSU game

At his Thursday media availability, Texas head coach Tom Herman said Sam Ehlinger "should be ready" to start Saturday at Oklahoma State. The sophomore quarterback practiced all week despite some soreness in the throwing shoulder he sprained against Baylor.

Herman also announced cornerbacks Kris Boyd and Davante Davis and wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey won't start on Saturday after all three were late for a team function.

"I want to make sure nobody thinks they've done anything too egregious," Herman said. "But there is a standard around here that's unwavering."

Texas (6-1, 4-0) will face Oklahoma State (4-3, 1-3) Saturday at 7 p.m.
