Suspect in murder of Jefferson County teen arrested in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY - This morning, March 31, at around 3:40 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the Liberty Hill Police Department and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chelsea Ann-Marie Shipp at a residence in Liberty Hill, Texas. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has set bond at $1 million.

Shipp was wanted for Murder in connection to the discovery of the body of a 16-year-old girl located at a residence in the 14000 block of Kolb’s Corner in West Jefferson County, Texas on Sunday, March 27.

JSCO deputies transported Shipp to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility from Williamson County. They arrived at around 1:45 p.m.

The deceased teen has been identified as Katelynn Nicole Stone of Vidor.

Earlier this week, deputies also arrested 22-year-old Cody Arnold for the murder. Arnold is currently in custody at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. JP Collins has set bond at $1 million.
