The majority of Americans support legalization of marijuana in some form.
A Pew Research Center survey found 91 percent of US adults think marijuana should be legal for medical or use.
60 percent of the respondents say it should be legal for all adult use.
31 percent think it should be legal for only medical use.
And just eight percent say it should remain illegal.
The number of people supporting marijuana legalization has more than doubled from 2000 to 2019.
16 states have fully legal marijuana while 36 states have a medical program.
