A North Texas man is sharing his story after his mall dog was attacked by a coyote.

It happened in a Frisco neighborhood.

Koji Brown's yorkie -- named Buddy -- was attacked during a morning walk on a trail by his home. Brown had a golf club on him as protection due to recent coyote attacks happening in his neighborhood.

He used it to beat the coyote off his dog. Surveillance video shows Buddy running back to Brown's house, who is able to find him and get him safely inside.

But just a few minutes later a coyote jumps Brown's six-foot-fence fence, sniffing the ground and possibly looking for Buddy. When it doesn't find him, he leaves.

Brown says he thinks the coyotes are hungry and he's hoping the city will remove them from the neighborhoods.
