Houston-area teacher facing criticism for jumping on car hood to stop line cutter
A Houston-area teacher is facing criticism for jumping on the hood of a car after a mom cut the car pool line.
Rita Trimmer says she cut around the cones at the Fort Bend ISD school because she was late, and her daughter had STAAR testing.
She says when the teacher jumped on her car, the two started screaming at each other. Trimmer knows what she did is wrong, but she also thinks the teacher is in the wrong.
"This was outrageous for a teacher to jump on the car, a professional, a person who's managing children, to jump on the hood of my car. It's a bit much," Trimmer said.
The Fort Bend ISD superintendent called Trimmer to apologize, saying the district does not condone an employee using physical means to stop a vehicle.
