Woman taken to the hospital after being shot in North Austin

    A woman is recovering in the hospital Monday after being shot in North Austin.

    Police received the call at around 3:24 a.m. at a Jack in the Box restaurant located at 6419 Airport Blvd.

    Authorities say the 24-year-old woman was a passenger in a car that was shot at at the intersection of Thurmond and Jamestown Drive by one or two male suspects in a white vehicle.

    The vehicle fled the scene and ended up at the Jack in the Box.

    The woman is in stable condition. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
