A woman is accused of stabbing an elderly couple at their East Austin home.

Police say 36-year-old Morina Haywood did not know the couple. Investigators say she approached a man working in his driveway on Claymoor Drive, telling him she had a rash. When the man said he couldn't help, police say Haywood stabbed him and his wife.

Haywood was identified as the suspect from a bloody palm print left on a car in the victims' driveway.

Court documents say that after Haywood was arrested, she told officers that she had got high on PCP the night before and couldn't remember stabbing the couple.

Her arrest affidavit says she is a suspect in separate stabbing case from May where the victim was stabbed in the neck. She was also convicted of stabbing another person in the face back in 2008.

She is charged with injury to the elderly.
