WilCo finds car possibly linked to disappearance of Rachel Cooke in 2002

On Friday morning, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office is scheduled to provide an update on the investigation into the search for Rachel Louise Cooke, who went missing in 2002.

According to the sheriff's office, a vehicle was found that is linked to her disappearance.

January 10 marked 16 years since 19-year-old Cooke went missing from her Georgetown neighborhood.

She disappeared in the early morning after going for a routine jog.

Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody will be hosting the press conference at 8:30 on Friday morning at the WilCo Impound Yard in Georgetown.

A reward of up to $50,000 is available for information leading to her location. Her family has already offered a $50,000 reward for information.
