Leander ISD says a game scheduled on Tuesday for the Vista Ridge High School basketball team has been pushed to Wednesday following the death of one of the student athletes on the team.

17-year-old Myles Hutcheson was killed in a crash that happened Monday morning on Brushy Creek Drive in Cedar Park, less than a mile away from the high school.

Myles, a high school junior, was a dedicated varsity basketball player for the Vista Ridge Rangers. "I was just as the Vista Ridge game last Tuesday watching him play -- really good basketball player, really competitive as well,” said Jordan Geist, his youth pastor at North Point Church in Cedar Park.

Police are still investigating what led up to the crash but they say no other cars were involved.
