All Eastbound lanes of State Highway 290 have been reopened.

Three adults and one child have been transported to the hospital following a major rollover collision in Southwest Austin on Sunday evening.

At 5:28p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene in the 8800 block of Thunderbird Road, near Highway 290 East.

At 5:35p.m., an update was sent out that one adult had been possibly ejected from a vehicle during the crash and had been transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

Two other adults were taken to the hospital with potentially serious injuries, while a third pediatric patient was transported to Dell Children's with injuries, but none expected to be life-threatening.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported that both eastbound lanes of Highway 290 are currently closed at Thunderbird Road, and traffic is crawling by using the center turn lane.

Expect extended delays in the area.
