The Texas-based delivery service Favor has selected its first-ever "Chief Taco Officer."

The company launched its statewide search in April and they've finally landed on the perfect candidate.

Chris Flores of San Antonio has been named to the coveted position. He was selected from hundreds of applicants.

In his new position Flores will travel across the state to find the best tacos Texas has to offer.

“I love Texas because of the melting pot of different cultures that have migrated here and adopted the taco into their cuisine,” said Flores. “I’m so excited for this opportunity to travel Texas while seeing and tasting the different impact the taco has had on each region.”

He will also receive over $10,000 for his role and will have all his food, transportation and accommodations paid for.
