Teenage driver rescued from car after hitting tree
Two 18-year-olds are in the hospital after wrapping a car around a tree in far west Bexar County Saturday evening.
The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and hit a tree on Roft Road, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.
Fire rescue took about 30 minutes getting the driver free from the vehicle and transported him to University Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger was able to get himself out of the car and was also taken to University with unknown injuries.
