Manor police have arrested the suspect involved in a deadly shooting in a Walmart parking lot in Manor early Thursday morning.

Police say officers responded at 3:52 a.m. to the Walmart located at11923 E US 290 Highway eastbound for a person who was shot in the parking lot. Officers arrived in less than two minutes and found 19-year-old Luis Frias-Hernandez, of Elgin, with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures by officers, Frias-Hernandez died on scene at 4:13 a.m. before EMS personnel arrived.

Manor police said in a Facebook post that after working throughout the day and night, detectives identified the suspect as 25-year-old Juan Acuna-Gaona, of Manor. He is charged with first-degree murder.

Acuna-Gaona was arrested without incident and transported to Travis County Central Booking.
