HOUSTON - A teen was accidentally shot by a family member at an apartment complex on Houston's Westside.

Officers responded to a shooting around 12 a.m. Saturday morning at an apartment complex on Dunlap Street.

When police arrived they found an 18-year-old dead on the scene.

According to the Houston Police Department, a scuffle happened between the 18-year-old and another teen relative who was upset he brought a gun into the apartment.
