SXSW show canceled after terroristic threat, suspect arrested

A South by Southwest performance by The Roots was canceled Saturday night due to a “security concern,” according to event organizers.

"Your safety and the safety of all fans at SXSW is our most important priority," event organizer, Bud Light tweeted.

The event was scheduled to take place at Fair Market at 1100 E. 5th Street.

South by Southwest also tweeted about the news saying, "The Bud Light x The Roots SXSW Jam at Fair Market has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding."

The performance lineup included Ludacris, Dermot Kennedy, Jessie Reyez, Rapsody, Tank & the Bangas, Moon Taxi, & other surprise guests.

Austin Police say they've arrested 26-year-old Trevor Weldon Ingram and charged him with making a terroristic threat. Investigators say there are no further security concerns related to this incident.
