Residents evacuated in Brushy Creek and San Gabriel River area
Williamson County authorities are evacuating three separate areas near Brushy Creek and the San Gabriel River because of rising waters.
Evacuation notices have been sent to residents in McSheperd neighborhood in Georgetown and people living on CR 129 & CR 123 along Brushy Creek.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said they are evacuating the lower level of the Shady Oaks RV park off Hwy 29 East of IH-35.
The City of Georgetown said there are additional evacuations happening in parts of Liberty Hill and east Georgetown.
The San Gabriel river is currently at 24 feet, which is 13 feet above the flood stage. It is possible the river will continue to rise.
