Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering $4,000 to identify suspects accused of vandalizing Beto O'Rourke political signs and bumper stickers in a New Braunfels neighborhood.

Some of the victims filed police reports with the New Braunfels police department. Authorities are looking for surveillance camera images to identify the vandals.

“People were obviously concerned and I think for good reason," said David Ferguson, spokesperson for the New Braunfels police department. "And we want the public to know that we are looking into it and we are encouraging people to send in there surveillance images so we can hold somebody responsible for it.“

Police said this would be considered criminal mischief and not a hate crime.
