Police searching for SE Austin convenience store robbery suspect

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who robbed a Southeast Austin convenience store at gunpoint on Sunday.

It happened at around 8:40 p.m. at a store located at 2300 E. Ben White Blvd., on the westbound service road just east of the I-35 intersection.

Austin Police say the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash. He then fled the scene in a dark gray or black SUV. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, early 30s, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a baby blue hoodie, baby blue baseball hat, and black pants.
