Police ID pedestrian killed in last month's collision near ABIA
A pedestrian killed in last month’s collision near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has been identified.
The Austin Police Department says the fatal accident happened on June 29 in the 8300 block of East Ben While Blvd. at around 11 a.m.

According to APD’s initial assessment, a 2014 white Jeep Wrangler and a box truck were merging into the center lane of traffic at the same time and collided.
The crash caused the Jeep to travel into the outside lane and impact 40-year-old Miguel Guerrero-Garcia while he was removing bags of mulch from the roadway that had fallen off of his trailer.
Guerrero-Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
