Things got a little too hot to handle for a Dallas-area bridge.

TxDOT re-opened the Bass Pro Dive Bridge in Grapevine Tuesday morning after rushing to make repairs.

They say a combination of heat and humidity caused a section to buckle on Monday.

Vehicles bounced over the damaged pavement, and some even launched a few inches into the air.
