Pastor: Liberty Hill church fire destroys preschool, hall
LIBERTY HILL, Texas — Firefighters responded to a church fire in Liberty Hill Saturday afternoon, police say.
Liberty Hill Police posted on social media urging followers to avoid Cross Tracks Church, located at 101 Church Street, while first responders worked.
Senior Pastor John Saint tells CBS Austin that the church will have service Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Hill ISD Administration Building at 301 Forrest Street, which is two blocks from the church.
Pastor Saint says that the fire destroyed their Sonshine Friends Preschool, church offices, and fellowship hall. The historic chapel and multipurpose worship center are fine, according to Saint.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, stated the pastor.
We have reached out to Liberty Hill Fire department for more information but have not heard back.
