AUSTIN, Texas — For the first time since opening their doors in 2005, there's a new menu item at P. Terry's--and they've joined the chicken sandwich wars.
The Austin-born burger chain tweeted out news of its latest creation: the Crispy Chicken Burger.
P. Terry's says the burger features their all natural, fresh-ground chicken patty dipped in buttermilk and coated in crunchy panko breadcrumbs, and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and Swiss cheese.
The burger comes in original or spicy and it's available for a limited time only.
It costs $4.25 for the burger, or $7.90 for the combo.
You can pick one up today at any of the 19 P. Terry's Burger Stand locations, including the newest one at 517 W. MLK Blvd near the University of Texas campus.
