Police have arrested and charged a man for a shooting last week outside a North Austin nightclub that seriously injured two people.
It happened Monday, June 20, in the parking lot for Club Rodeo at a large strip shopping center near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Rutland Drive.
The Austin Police Department says at around 3 a.m. officers responded to the address for a call regarding several people injured from gunshots. The victims were taken to a local hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries.
A witness said the parking lot was full from end to end when a fight broke out and shots were fired. APD says detectives tracked down the suspect to St. David's Medical Center in South Austin where he had checked in. That man is identified as 23-year-old Michael Allen Kyles III.

Police say security camera footage shows Kyles shooting both victims after a disturbance. He was arrested the day after the shooting and charged withaggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Kyles is in custody at the Travis County Jail.
APD says detectives are still looking to identify other people who may have been victims and witnesses to the shooting, including the people and vehicles pictured below.
