Man attempts to use explosive to open an ATM
FALLS CITY, Texas – Authorities offered a reward Friday for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of attempting to use an explosive device to open an ATM in Falls City.
Police said the man approached the Falls City National Bank at about 3 a.m. Jan. 8, attaching a plastic container with a "suspected binary explosive material" to the drive-up ATM. The man was wearing blue jeans, gloves, brown boots, a brown or green jacket, a black winter cap and a black weather mask. Police believe is between 5-feet-9 and 6-feet 2.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Karnes County Sherriff’s Office (KCSO), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), are seeking the public’s help in the case.
