SAN ANTONIO - Police arrested a 38-year-old man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl and giving her drugs last month.

According to court papers, Ronald Christopher Hernandez met the girl while riding his bike and asked her if she wanted to party. She told investigators Hernandez took her to a drug dealer's house and then another house where they did drugs and had sex.

She claimed he later became aggressive and she escaped when he was too high on drugs to chase her.

The teen's mother later contacted police when Hernandez reportedly tried to contact the victim through social media. The teen gave officers information that led them to a gas station where Hernandez works, as well as descriptions of several tattoos on his face and body. He was arrested on outstanding warrants and admitted to investigators he knew the girl was underage, according to arrest papers.

He is now charged with a felony charge of sexual assault of a child.
