UPDATE: Kingsland is no longer under a boil water notice.

The city said it collected water samples and sent them off to a lab Monday. The Kingsland Water Supply Corporation says the water is now safe to drink.

The city is still asking residents to conserve water until at least Wednesday.

A boil water notice and conservation request for the Kingsland area remains in effect Sunday evening.

Kingsland Water Supply Corp states that although they have normal storage tanks operations, the boil water notice remains in effect for the area. Bacteriological samples will be collected Monday for analysis.

In addition, water treatment plants remain at 70%, necessitating continued conservation measures until Wednesday October 24.
