Johnson County man arrested for promotion of child pornography
Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the arrest of David Wynn McClary, 64, by his Child Exploitation Unit (CEU).
McClary had five arrest warrants for Promotion of Child Pornography, a second-degree felony.
He was captured after investigators found child pornography was shared from an IP address connected to his home in Cleburne, Texas.
Investigators seized several digital storage devices from him for examination by the Attorney General’s Digital Forensics Unit. They found images and videos of child pornography.
McClary is at the Johnson County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
According to Texas law, he could face up to 20 years in prison per charge.
