Hays Co. deputies arrest two for conspiring to commit murder in Wimberley
Two people have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to commit murder last week at a home in Wimberley.
20-year-old Nevaada Lexus Morgan, of Sante Fe, Texas, and 19-year-old Steven Michael Ertel, of Wimberley, are both in custody at the Hays County Jail.
The sheriff's office says on Friday, Nov. 30, the victim was lured by Morgan to a home on Mount Sharp Road. Ertel was also there, but the victim did not know him.
While at the home, the sheriff's office said Morgan and Ertel were each armed with a knife and "engaged in behavior that led the victim to believe his life was in imminent danger." The victim was able to flee and call 911.
A subsequent investigation uncovered evidence which supported the facts that the couple conspired to murder their victim, the sheriff's office said.
Further details were not immediately available.
