Guadalupe River in New Braunfels reopens, Comal River remains closed

New Braunfels has reopened the Guadalupe River inside city limits for recreation, including tubing.

The city says the Comal River remains closed to as crews work to remove debris and make repairs from damage caused by storms from Harvey over the weekend.

Both rivers were closed in anticipation of severe weather brought on by Hurricane Harvey.
