A group of hogs caused an 18-wheeler rollover crash Thursday near Manor, according to the Austin Fire Department.
In the early morning of Valentine's Day, the driver of a semi was traveling northbound on State Highway 130 when he noticed a group of hogs in the roadway.
Authorities say the driver slowed down and moved over to avoid them, however, the hogs got in the way and caused him to swerve and lose control. That's when the 18-wheeler overturned, dumping over 40 gallons of fuel onto the highway.
The driver was transported to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the highway was closed for hours as officials worked to clear the road.
