US Marshals searching for man wanted for assault in Luling
Daedric Lee, 22, is wanted for an assault that happened in March of this year in Luling.
"Daedric shows up to a residence, has some type of verbal dispute with the soon to be mother-in-law and that dispute turns into a physical altercation amongst him and his girlfriend," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.
Lee allegedly tried to take a ring off the victim's hand and strangled her, causing bruising. Days later, Caldwell County deputies asked him to come in for questioning -- but he never showed up.
"He's got a criminal history that started as soon as he turned 18," said Filla.
That includes two previous domestic assaults. U.S. Marshals say Lee has two addresses in Lockhart and they believe he is still in the Caldwell County area.
"He's known to be driving a 2009 black Lexus. That Lexus is registered to him and the TX license plate is KBY 9456," said Filla. "If he's watching, this is his last warning to comply with law enforcement to come give his side, to turn himself in."
Daedric Lee is 5'7 and weighs 160 pounds. If you have any information on him call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 512-800-4213.
