Fire breaks out in South Austin house garage

The Austin Fire Department responded to a garage fire at a residence early Wednesday morning in South Austin.

It happened in a neighborhood on Meadow Creek Drive at around 5:30 a.m.

The family made it out of the residence safely, no injuries were reported.

AFD has put out the fire and investigators are working on identifying the cause behind it.

The occupants were able to return to the residence.
