Fayette Co. officials investigating after recovering dozens of stolen items
Authorities in Fayette County are actively investigating after they recovered multiple stolen items from a residence.
On Saturday, officials responded to a burglary at 700 Klesel Road in the Schulenburg area.
Upon arrival, officials found numerous items stolen so they initiated an investigation, according to the affidavit.
Documents say that after investigating, officials discovered that some of the items were possibly located at a residence located at 315 Summit Street in Schulenburg.
On Thursday, various officials from different departments executed a search warrant and found numerous stolen pieces of property which came from the burglary.
The stolen items were seized, and according to authorities, they will be eventually returned to the property owner.
Charges are pending on the suspects and warrants are being sought for the individuals involved in the offense.
The case is still under investigation.
