AUSTIN, Tx — Stitches for wishes. A Central Texas quilting shop is hoping you'll get out the needle and thread to help raise money for Make-A-Wish Central and South Texas Kids.
Every year Fat Quarter Shop in Buda hosts an annual Bloom-Topia Stitch Along to raise money for the nonprofit.
With last year's funds, they send 9-year-old Avery on her dream Disney Cruise.
Make-A-Wish says these trips do much than just raise their spirits. They help physically and mentally recover from whatever ailments they are facing.
This year, Fat Quarter Shop is hoping to raise $100,000 to help Make-A-Wish kids here in Central Texas. So far they are at $77,000
To help, donate any amount big or small and download this year's quilt or cross stitch pattern. 100% of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas.
