UPDATE: According to APD, the woman injured in the hit-and-run has died.
According to officers at the scene, a male and female on separate bikes were stopped on Cameron Road. One bike had a wooden trailer that the woman was tending to while stopped in the bike lane. The male was safe on the sidewalk. Witnesses said a truck driving southbound crashed into the woman, her bike, and trailer and fled the scene.
Monday afternoon, APD said the suspect vehicle had been located but no arrests had been made. The investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded to a bike and vehicle accident in East Austin Monday morning.
The incident happened at 2:25 a.m. at the 6100 block of Cameron Road, just south of Hwy 290.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
According to EMS, a woman in her 20s has been transported to Dell Seton with critical life threatening injuries.
