One person killed in Downtown Austin crash
One person was killed Monday afternoon after a traffic crash in Downtown Austin, EMS officials said.
It happened at around 3:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Cesar Chavez Street, just west of Lamar Boulevard bridge.
Austin-Travis County EMS said a man in his 20s was declared deceased at the scene. Two other adult males were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Austin Police said it was a two-vehicle crash. A small sedan traveling eastbound veered into the westbound lanes, it was them t-boned by a truck. The male driver of the sedan was killed.
