El Paso man behind bars, accused of using superglue on child’s eyes and mouth
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested a man accused of injuring his child.
Authorities said Johnnie Lee Carter of El Paso superglued his 14-month-old child’s eyes and mouth shut in Odessa, Texas on Sept. 16.
Odessa police said Carter took off before they arrived at the scene.
On Monday, the LSFTF found Carter at a motel on Gateway West Boulevard near Lomaland Drive.
Carter was booked into the El Paso County Jail.
He will be extradited to Ector County, Texas to face his charge relating to injury to a child.
