Education Austin calls for Austin ISD board president's resignation
On Wednesday, labor group Education Austin along with other community members and activists, called for the resignation of Kendall Pace, Austin Independent School District's board President.
This comes after Pace allegedly used the language “crazy activists” and “poverty pimps” in a text message exchange with a board trustee talking about people who elected her.
“Kendall Pace is leading the charge that I don’t think some people in this administration is aware of,” said a representative of Education Austin outside Austin ISD headquarters.
