Investigators have identified the two women killed Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Burnet County.

It happened at approximately 7:40 a.m. near the SH 29 and CR 304 intersection west of the city of Bertram.

The Ford Focus was pushed into the eastbound lane where it was struck by a 2013 Ford Escape.

The driver of the Ford Focus -- identified as Pamela Stewart, 56, of Bertram -- was transported to Baylor Scott and White where she later died. The driver of the Ford Escape -- identified as Dena Kolb, 52, of Burnet -- died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to a local hospital. His current condition was not immediately available.
