Lee County sheriff's deputy injured, suspect dead after shootout

When deputies went into the residence after speaking with the owner, the suspect, Raul Vega Perez, opened fire and shot the deputy twice. The deputy returned fire and killed the suspect. He was pronounced deceased around 1 a.m. (Lee County Sherrif's Dept.)
