AUSTIN, Texas — A man and a woman are lucky to be alive after their vehicle ended up submerged upside down in the waters of Bull Creek early Wednesday morning.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Spicewood Springs Road.
Travis County deputies and the Austin Fire Department found a white sedan rolled over on its top in about 5 feet of water and two victims out of the vehicle.
Deputies say it is unclear exactly how the accident played out, but both the man and the woman were able to escape the vehicle before drowning.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
