Austin Police looking for bank robbery suspect with red, swollen hands

Austin Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a northwest Austin bank robbery last Friday.

The call came in at 12:09 p.m. at the Wells Fargo located near the intersection of Spicewood Springs Road and Mesa Drive.

According to APD, a man entered the bank, demanded money, and left with undisclosed amount of cash.

He then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 6' to 6'3" tall.

Police say he had red, swollen hands.

He's also the suspect in a robbery at a north Austin Wells Fargo on Saturday morning.
