ATCEMS: Driver injured after crashing into light pole in east Austin

A driver was injured overnight after crashing into a light pole in east Austin overnight.

Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted they responded to the crash on Ed Bluestein Blvd. near Purple Sage Drive around 1:50 a.m.

Medics say the collision involved one vehicle where the driver was entrapped. They were able to rescue the driver to safety.

ATCEMS took the driver to Dell Seton with potentially serious injuries.
