AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police is investigating a bank robbery that occurred less than three hours after another in northwest Austin.
APD state that a call was received about a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 6501 Airport Blvd at about 12:421 p.m. Friday.
A spokesperson states that the suspect entered the bank and demanded money, left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot southbound on Airport Blvd.

Police are also investigating a robbery at the Prosperity Bank at 11545 Research Blv that happened at 10:27 a.m.
Authorities say they do not believe the two robberies are connected at this time.
