Missing 4-year-old, Katelyn Ramirez, was found safe Thursday after a two-day search. She is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Her father, Eric Ramirez, is charged with interfering with child custody. Travis County Sheriff's Office Captain, Craig Smith, said he may also be charged with kidnapping.

Smith said it is also likely that another person, possibly the child's mother, will be charged in this case.

The case began with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office investigating a family violence case.

A regional Amber Alert was eventually issued.

"Without a doubt, the tips from the Amber aAert are how we found Katelyn," said Smith. "We know the father saw the alert and became concerned, because he started making phone calls."

Deputies, U.S. Marshals, and the Texas Rangers were all involved in the case.

Katelyn was found at a home in Liberty Hill Thursday afternoon.
