AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) - Alamo Drafthouse is putting together a special screening of the upcoming "Wonder Woman" movie that's for women only - and some men on social media aren't happy about it.

The all-female screening is happening Tuesday, June 6 at the Ritz.

From the Alamo's website:

The most iconic superheroine in comic book history finally has her own movie, and what better way to celebrate than with an all-female screening?
Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying “No Guys Allowed” for one special night at the Alamo Ritz. And when we say “Women (and People Who Identify As Women) Only,” we mean it. Everyone working at this screening -- venue staff, projectionist, and culinary team -- will be female.
So lasso your geeky girlfriends together and grab your tickets to this celebration of one of the most enduring and inspiring characters ever created.

In a post promoting the screening on the theater's Facebook page, however, some men are upset at the "women only" rule:

Several posters "wonder" if there would be complaints if the theater announced a "men only" screening of other superhero movies, among other perceived grievances:

"Wonder Woman," based on the DC Comics character, opens June 2.
