Adler wins re-election as Austin mayor, Props A thru I pass

Steve Adler won a second term as Austin mayor Tuesday and Propositions A thru I on the ballot passed.

Adler won with about 60 percent of the vote. Laura Morrison was second at around 20 percent. She conceded the race about an hour after the polls closed.

Meanwhile, on the rest of the ballot, all the money bond propositions passed, from the $250 million for affordable housing to $184 million for flood mitigation.

Propositions J and K both failed, J called for voter approval of of any future land development code changes, and K called for an independent 'efficiency study' of city operations.
