A teenager has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left another teen in critical condition Sunday in New Braunfels.

The incident happened at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the 2900 block of Oakdell Trail.

Police say they responded to a report about a gunshot victim and when they arrived on scene, they found a 19-year-old male from Converse inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds.

A preliminary investigation determined that the shooting started after an argument between two teenage boys, according to police.

The suspect, identified as 18-year old Joshua Elijah Limon, was transported to the Comal County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

The victim was transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
