Legendary rock-and-roll icon Carlos Santana planning tour stop in Austin
SAN ANTONIO — Legendary rock-and-roll icon Carlos Santana is planning a stop in Austin during a three-month tour across North America.
Santana will perform at the Austin 360 Amphitheater on Tuesday, July 9. He will also perform in Dallas on July 6. Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 25.
The "Supernatural Now" tour will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Santana's Grammy-winning album, Supernatural and the 50th anniversary of his performance at Woodstock.
While the artist will play music from both eras, Santana says he and his band will also perform music from his new album, In Search of Mona Lisa, which comes out this month.
