Sarah Navoy is used to the hot and humid weather in Central Texas. She grew up just outside of New Orleans and is a proud LSU grad. She joined KEYE-TV in July 2015.
Sarah's award-winning reporting career began in Central Washington. Sarah fell in love with the beauty and the people of the Northwest where she covered devastating wildfires and government corruption. Sarah also spent two years in North Alabama where she often covered a different type of natural disaster, tornadoes. In Huntsville, Sarah won an Associated Press award for a feature story about the 'tiny house' movement and for an investigative piece uncovering police brutality.
In 2016, Sarah won an EMMY award for an investigative story about a state agency spending large amounts of money on foreign travel.
When she isn't reporting, you can find Sarah around town trying all of the awesome restaurants Austin has to offer. She also enjoys hiking and the outdoors. Don't hesitate to say hello if you see her!
